Hey,
So i woke up this morning....
and completely forgot how to use a paper-hole-puncher anymore.
You know,
Its like i stared at it, turned it upside down inside out, tried to fit my paper in, turned my paper over and upside down, approximately 6 minutes taken...till i finally managed to punch that two damn holes, rejoice !
And i do actually get amazed by myself at times like this :)
And yay, the weekend's finally here ! :)
A few photographs of me and various fun-loving people whom I've met up with while i was over in Melbourne. I'm not too sure how to fit all the stories and events together, so i thought maybe i should just list them as random snaps ! :)
Before i start...
If there has got to be one thing i love and hate about Melb, it has definitely got to do with the weather. Cause its just so crazily unpredictable ! There are times when it could be so warm in the morning, so naturally you get all dressed in shorts. And then, they decide to play a prank on you and it turns cold by noon. By then - you're already in shorts, you're out of the house, so good luck with it cause you're basically stuck like that. Or, you could also be in jeans and long-sleeved - all dressed for a chilly day ahead when the weather changes to be very warm.
Hence for that i am pretty grateful that we experience "summer" all year long, cause go ahead and dress in shorts or skirts - you will never go wrong.
Anyways, here goes ! :)
This is myself, Jason, Kelly & Edwin, who very kindly put us up for the whole two weeks. Most of my time there was basically spent with them, and i couldn't ask for any better company. I remember there was this one night when we all felt crazy enough to walk to the nearest grocer in Richmond (freezing cold mind you!) and grabbed packets of korean instant noodles, chips, beers etc. We changed into our pyjamas, set a table out in the balcony and i had the best supper experience, ever! Good times :)
And of course there's Kelly, who was crazy enough to say Yes when i asked her about Melbourne back then. Although the trip was postponed till almost one year later, i'm glad it still happened at the end of the day.
There was this one night, when the both of us decided to dress-up, ditch the boys and head to a local bar recommended by her friend. Somehow, we lost our way around the city and ended up walking for more than an hour ! In the end, we finally gave up and headed to Southbank for some pizza instead. Yes, i'll always remember that one night :)
Myself and Weiwen, whom i've met up with the most throughout the whole two weeks. She has definitely proven to me that Melbourne is not THAT big afterall. Like what are the odds that i'll keep bumping into her everywhere i go. All the way from the city to the suburbs ! Just glad that i managed to visit her place, be reunited with Wenyi virtually, visited her favourite Greco's and finally introduced her to everyone whom i've been going on and on to her all these years ! :)
Myself and Zhigang, an old-time friend since highschool. We managed to meet up twice there and well, he was kind enough to sacrifice his morning sleep to be a tour-guide around Clayton and Caufiled instead ! Although there was this one point where i had to follow him around the engineering faculty because of his project due, boy was i glad being able to spot a few hot ones and watch them working their instruments :)
This is Alan, Sam, Kyle, Suphanee, Eujean, myself and ChiaEe - mini Mufy reunion. Not forgetting, these are also the bunch of people who left me behind in Malaysia ! Just happy enough to be able to meet up with them, have a meal together, tried the very infamous Il Dolce Freddo gelato and lastly head to the bar for the night. I had a very good time and no doubt, i miss having all you guys around me ! Come back safe alright :)

It did take me awhile to get my engine started again since I came back. And i am already thinking, " Where should i go next? " :)
We were out strolling on the beach one evening when this scene caught my attention. I quickly whip out my camera to take a picture.
And for some unknown reasons even to myself, it also turned out to be my favourite one :)

On the other hand,
I realised that i have zero photography skills ! Like really, every picture that i take seems to lose its focus. So it looks like crap, and then it becomes useless.
So, i'm going to make it a point to start practising on my own by taking more pictures of everyone and everything around me from now. Hopefully... :)
Just got back yesterday !
But due to the drastic weather changes for the past two weeks, i can feel my body system going all topsy-turvy on me now. So i'll be back with more laters !
p/s: My luggage did turn out to be the most over-weight one afterall, sigh'
And i knew i had it going all good for me when i saw you standing there the moment i arrived, with that look on your face and breakfast in your hands. Just like old times' ! :)
