Oh ya, school the semester has officially started this week.
Nothing to whine about my timetable for this semester, its all good.

all the assignments due-ing one after another. Struggles. Late nights. Finals.
Oh well, and just leading the life of a student.

    J. Co Donuts

Its really great that the Backstreet Boys will be having their concert in Sunway Lagoon.
Actually, its always great when any artists hold their concert in Sunway Lagoon.
    And this is because,
i always get to watch them for free !! ( e.g. the Pussycat Dolls )

    The best part is,
i do not have to squeeze with the crowd too !
and sniff all the foul smell coming from the sweaty armpits
    hehe...

Another thing which may be totally irrelevant,
we came back Jb yesterday and he had to carry Four 1/2 dozen of J. Co Donuts boxes all the way back home.

See, we share good stuff alright. =]

For the fact that I never eat burgers,
and have been eating only the McNuggets meal from McDonalds all my life
so trust me when i say Carl's Jr. is good.

    irritated.

We were just walking around the mall yesterday,
when we passed by this woman calling out to her daughter.

Her daughter (whom i presume is about 6 at age) ran towards her mother
and was being chided for not staying by her side.
    The next thing i know,
" Do you know that we're in Johore now ! "

    damn, all these Singaporeans....

    my Valentine's Day '08

We managed to keep this year's Valentine's day simple,
just purely enjoying each other's company for the whole day.
    felt really nice, awesome.

Spent our whole day at Sentosa Island, Singapore
and we had so much fun there.
Guess i shall let the pictures do the talking instead...

It was so happen that our visit to Sentosa coincided with the Tales of Spring,
their flowers festival which has been going on there for a week.
It was a really beautiful sight in there cause there were all sorts of flowers in various colours, all so nicely arranged !

had to take this, Sunflowers are my favourite

swans (made of flowers) floating in the pond

Our first visit was to the Merlion,
which we were supposed to take the lift up to the Merlion's mouth
then head, to have a good view of the Sentosa Island.
Before that, we were invited to watch a short animation which pretty much tells the story of how the whole Merlion thing came about.

while waiting to enter the " mini cinema "
we started fooling around with the dragon, since the both of us were the only one there

im glad im born in the year of dragon (1988), and pretty proud of it if you ask me actually !!
    =]

    him, and the Dragon

And he got so amused by the fact that he could glow in the dark,
that he made me take so many shots of him glowing till a bunch of tourists from Japan came along.

view of Sentosa from the top of the Merlion

at the Merlion's mouth. Really windy out there.

We visited the Sky Tower next,
    which isn't anything much actually.
It brings you 131 metres above sea level till you're able to spot Indonesia on your left and Malaysia on your right.

Our third activity, the Sentosa 4D Magix
    which was really fun !!
Basically its about watching a movie complete with surround sound, motion seats and lots of live effects such as water spray and ticklers ! we were laughing so much in there!

Next we took a tram over to Fort Siloso
a preserved British coastal fortification since the 1880s.
Everything in there is really well-preserved i must say,
Ben and i spent most of our time reading up and discovering more especially during the Japanese Occupation.

i love this best, cause they allow us to actually launch our own bombs !!

    boys, will always be boys.

The both of us headed over to Siloso Beach next
just to enjoy the beach a little.

Just as we were about to leave the beach,
he wanted to take this shot so much...

    spot Ben !!

After the beach, we played the Sentosa Luge & Skyride
which was a little scary at first, but turned really fun towards the end of the ride !
The both of us were practically racing with each other, with our supa dupa slow moderate speed while screaming our heads off. And i won the race! *proud*

The Skyride was honestly, pretty scary
and i felt a little sick being on it at the beginning.
It was so scary that the both of us was very quiet through-out the ride.

We were so worried that my sandals would fall off that i had to take it off and the poor him had to hold on to it all the way.
My happy feet, 320m high above ground level !

This pretty much marks the end of our adventure in Sentosa actually.
But of course before we left, we each had a cone of ice-cream to cool ourselves down and walked around a little more before heading back home to Jaybee.

It was late evening by the time we reached home,
and Ben gave me some time to rest and get ready before coming over to pick me up for dinner.
Not letting me know any plans for the night,
he has actually booked a table in Rosmarino the week before.

    Dinner was really nice,
cause the restaurant has pretty great ambience.
And of course, i appreciate all the effort that he has actually put in to plan the day
making it a really sweet and memorable one for me this year.

" Honestly, I felt pretty ticklish when he gave me a bouquet of blue roses, and a box of chocolates that night. Cause it just feels so weird after being together for quite some time now, but yes, that got to be my best Valentine moment.
Not because of the roses or chocolates, but because its from him. "

    bangs.

    finally, tomorrow's the eve *phew*
the past few days been all about grocery shopping, its really mad.

    Just last week,
Ben and i joined the crowd for the midnight sale in Giant
and the both of us were practically running all around finding for the stuffs on the shopping list.
Damn tiring, and pushing the trolley by the end of the night felt almost like trying to make an elephant move.

Last Friday, Jason came down to Jb
and it was my first time ordering drinks, like " Two beer tower please "
my first time playing big fish small fish and 007 too.
Laughed like shit, lots of fun.

Saturday was MeiHui's 21st birthday bash.
The girl got all of us to arrive the at clubhouse in the afternoon
for a swim, or hit the gym, or tennis, or golf, or squash.
But all of us felt so lazy that we ended up spending the whole afternoon bumming around taking pictures in the suite.
We had Seafood Buffet for dinner,
and spent the whole night drinking in the suite. Good times. =]

He brought me to this supa dupa retro shop last night,
with a Little Red Dress boutique upstairs and a cafe downstairs.
I had a good time looking through all the 60's dresses and tops,
and all the gorgeous charm bracelets they have made out of so many random stuffs.

Its great to know that Valentine's just less than two weeks away,
and we'll be celebrating our anniversary soon, in a month time. Y

But first, Happy Chinese New Year everyone !
